Network Engineers duties may involve creating or upgrading a local area network within an office to advanced tasks, like maintaining wide area networks, intranet and large data communication systems. Network Engineers may also perform repairs to existing networks as well as troubleshooting the network for speed. Senior Network Engineers may also be in charge of managing a company’s network hardware, including the mobile equipment, computers and servers.
